A preliminary staff report has been scheduled to be forwarded to Council on Monday, May 13, 2024, at the Regular Council Meeting in Municipal Hall Council Chamber at 7 p.m. Should the proposal advance (at Council’s discretion), a Development Application Information Meeting would be required to be held by the applicant to receive further neighbourhood feedback prior to Council consideration of the application.

The District has received a formal development proposal for the rezoning of 2550 Queens Avenue and zoning bylaw variances to facilitate subdivision of the site from one into two single-family lots. The District will process the development application in compliance with the Development Procedures Bylaw that requires public notification and consultation. All rezoning applications must be approved by Council.
